PEARLS ultrasound lecture: Evolution of Ultrasound
This is a talk I gave for the PEARLS ultrasound training team who are doing fantastic outreach work in the South Pacific and Melanesia / PNG teaching clinical ultrasound. If you are interested in this project and want to know more check out the website or Youtube channel.
This talk is all about the learning journey for doctors who want to acquire ultrasound skills. I go over my own learning pathway to illustrate how you should train to become a great clinical sonographer. There are a heap of cases to show how you can progress from a “point and shoot” POCUS scanner to a proficient and clinically excellent sonologist!
